Hey All,
This is what we have going on for the next few weeks:
Week 4: Sunday 12pm-8pm
This Sunday York Carnival will be on all day, including a parade at 1pm and lots of things going on in Parliament Street. This would be a great opportunity to get some vivid photos of artists and musicians, as well as general street photography. The event is free so just turn up and enjoy the day!
Week 5: Monday 7.30pm
The University photographer Paul Shields will be giving a Black + White film development demonstration, so you can learn and see exactly how a photograph is created! This will be very insightful for people interested in either film or digital photography. The demo will last about 30mins with Q&A afterwards. It will be held in the library’s photographic department, which is on the ground floor of the library beside the vending machines and the photocopying office.
Also, the “Down with Digital” demonstration has been moved to Monday 8th June (Week 7), more details to follow soon!
Hope to see you at the carnival and the film development demonstration!
