Thank you everyone who has entered our Motion competition, we will have the results within the next week or 2 as well as a presentation evening for any members and the competition winners to talk about their work!

This week Martin will be giving a workshop on using strobes as well as an induction on how to set up the studio lights. This would be an excellent opportunity for anyone who is interested in hiring out the studio kit but doesn’t know where to begin! The workshop will be on Monday 16th at 8.30, in D/056 (the Derwent room where we had our welcome talk).
We have a had a request from Louisa McLellan to photograph an after school club’s parade in town on Thursday. The club is called 109, and next week they are leading a lantern parade around town, on stilts with fairy lights etc. It starts at 6pm from the Minster, and if anyone wants to take these photos then please let us know so we can tell Louisa that someone will definitely be there. Of course as many of you are allowed to turn up as you like!
